| The kit consists of mini diamond abrasive plates for sanding in various grits and a bag of powder for mirror polishing marble. The product is indicated for manually restoring the shine of marble damaged by acids, scratches or other opacities. It is only suitable for removing stains or interventions on small surfaces (max. 1 sqm). A single stain can be perfectly removed, without necessarily having to involve the entire surface. It works satisfactorily only on stones with a high calcium carbonate content such as marble and the most common limestone. Granites, quartzites, all silica-based stones and some stones with a low limestone content (such as some green marbles) cannot be mirror polished with this kit. Efficiency and duration: the duration of diamond abrasives can be estimated at a few square meters (2 or 3), it depends a lot on the pressure of use. The 60 g sachet of polishing powder has an overall yield of approximately 1 sqm. It can still be purchased again in 100 gr sachets. Warning: stains that have penetrated deep into the stone, such as colored or oil stains, cannot be removed with this kit. Recommendations: in case of unsatisfactory results, it is advisable to repeat the entire procedure again, following the prescribed steps more carefully. |
